A few weeks ago I was contacted by Cardiff Times Magazine asking if I would like to write a regular column for them.

I was flattered and excited to think that their readers might be interested in what I had to say and immediately I started to think about what to write about. When I learnt that my first article would be in this month’s issue, the decision became easy to make – throughout March Marie Curie Cancer Care are asking everyone to wear a daffodil badge to raise funds and awareness. It’s a charity close to my heart and I have recently been asked to become an Ambassador for them.

If you turn to page 61 of this month’s magazine you’ll be able to find out what I have to say about it, but you won’t have to flick that far through the pages to see my face as the editor has put me on the cover too! I couldn’t believe it when I found out, who would have thought that I’d ever be a cover girl?! It’s a bit sureal seeing myself stare back at me, but it has really made me smile, and the response I’ve had to it from friends, family and followers of my work has been amazing.

So I’d like to say a HUGE thank you to Cardiff Times and everyone who has sent me such lovely messages. If you haven’t seen it for yourself I’ve posted a link below, and of course my next article will be in next month’s magazine!
