This January is not only the start of a new year but also the start of a new decade. The past 10 years have been fantastic for me professionally, I started the 00s as a correspondent at ITV Wales and went on to work at the BBC, with Huw Edwards, on The Wales Report. I then launched a brand new television channel called Made in Cardiff TV and presented several programmes for the station, including Animal Sanctuary, which led me on the path I’m on today.

I’ve always had a passion for animals and the great outdoors, and I love being a presenter, so on Animal Sanctuary I finally found my dream job, which made me determined to specialise in nature, wildlife and rural affairs programmes.

Now I’m a regular voice on BBC Radio 4’s Farming Today programme and on Country Focus on BBC Radio Wales. I’m also working on a podcast called Amazing Animals and I’m studying part-time for a Masters in Wildlife & Conservation Management.

There’s so much more I want to do in this field, but at the moment I’m enjoying everything I have achieved so far, which is why I decided it was time for a new showreel to document my journey. So please, click the link below and then sit back and enjoy!
