You’ve heard the saying no news is good news – well I always thought the opposite was true for journalists, but it seems I was wrong!

It has now been a week since I posted my last blog update, which has been the longest gap since I started it. Ironically, the reason I haven’t written an update isn’t because I’ve had nothing to say, it’s just because I’ve been too busy.

As well as working on the current affairs programme Week In Week Out and at Barn Media, I also had a very productive meeting with Welch Media (who I start working with soon), I attended the launch of the Great Daffodil Appeal for the wonderful cancer charity Marie Curie and I helped out at a photoshoot for The Cakehouse (yum!).

Thankfully this week looks set to be just as varied. Tomorrow I’m being interviewed by Bro Radio about my life as a freelancer and I have a meeting at BBC Wales, as well as a session at Cardiff Speech and Drama, and then I’ll be fulfilling a lifelong ambition by attending my first ever tap dancing lesson in the evening.

But hopefully I will have some down time, so I suppose I’ll keep you posted!
