After landing back home yesterday from a wonderful holiday in Majorca I’m already looking forward to being whisked away again, this time to the bright lights of Rio!
Last month’s Olympic games were simply phenomenal – 67 medals in total, 27 of those gold. But the Brazilian party doesn’t end there because the Paralympics start today.
Following the last Paralympics I was lucky enough to meet Mark Colbourne, and inspirational cyclist who had an accident in May 2009 but went on to win 3 medals at London 2012.

His story is so inspiring, as are those of all the paralympians, but can the likes of Ellie Simmonds, Jack Rutter and Ali Jawad replicate last month’s success?
Well one thing’s for sure, “the Superhumans” as they’re know will certainly give it their very best shot.
