I love bringing the outdoors inside, and on a day like this when the rain is hammering down, it’s great to be able to enjoy nature from the warmth of your home. Four years ago my best friends bought me a lemon tree (they thought I’d like to grow something to put in my gin & tonic – how right they were!) and ever since then I’ve had a steady stream of citrus.
In March the tree was covered in organic fruit, which we used in drinks and in some delicious home cooking. Unfortunately we’ve nearly picked the whole of this year’s crop now, but as you can see, I still have one juicy lemon left!
