This evening I was driving through the Vale of Glamorgan with my partner when we spotted this rather magnificent chap! Pheasants are such regal birds. There are plenty of them in that part of Wales, but smile every time I see one.

I love the great outdoors, there’s nothing better than being outside (preferably with bare feet), but unfortunately I don’t have any talent for gardening. However, a few years ago my Aunt gave me to big pots with cuttings from her herb garden and I’m proud to say they’re still going strong!

This morning I went for a ride on my bike and found the most beautiful place to stop for a rest. On the side of the road was an amazing wild meadow, with a vast range of colourful flowers, which included poppies, daisies and buttercups. Why not see how many you can name?!
