Earlier today my husband and I received some new additions to the family – three orphaned lambs!
The trio are Blue-Faced Leicesters who we’ve named Annie, Sasha and Jules. They have to be hand reared because each of their mothers had triplets but they aren’t producing enough milk to feed three lambs each, so we’ll be doing that instead. Every few hours they’ll be mixing bottles of special lamb milk formula, so we are getting ready for some sleepless nights! However, these guys are so cute, I know it’s going to be worth it!
