Today’s Wild and Wonderful post takes me back to my childhood.
When I was young I loved all animals (with the exception of earwigs, as their pincers frightened me a bit!) but one of my favourites was the lady bug – the bright red colour, the spots to count, and the way they landed on you out of nowhere.
So when I spotted this little guy on a weed growing at the front of our house this evening, I was instantly transported back to the excitement of that small girl I once was.
